Isolation

about

Isolation is probably the most lyrically direct track on this record, and is sort of a sister song to Lost. Plainly and simply, it's highlighting the absolute agony and sorrow that comes from a complete and total isolated existence (pre-pandemic no less!) and the weight of this song's message is conveyed in great detail. Every opportunity presented to me to get out of this catatonic state I was in felt like a nigh Herculean task, so I just turned away from it all and chose instead to hide in darkness and silence, until everything came to a head in Spring of 2019, where my mother saw I was on the verge of breaking and took matters into her own hands. And with that came a rebirth...

lyrics

Helpless and still
Hiding inside my head
Frozen beyond all time
My world crumbling down

Summoned by outer forced
Embraced by fear
I deny the ways out
My cavern is solace and peace
